Ingrediants:-
- Cauliflower -2 cups
- Onion - 4 tbsp (Chopped)
- Coconut -2 tbsp (Grated)
- Garlic - 1 pod
- Chilli powder -1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder-1/4 tsp
- Turmeric - a pinch
- Urad Dal -1/4 tsp
- Mustard seed-1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - a spring
- Dry red chillies-2
- Oil
Method:-
- Cut the cauliflower into florets. Cook it in salt water for few mins.Drain and chop cauliflower finely.
- Grind coconut,chilli powder,cumin powder,turmeric,garlic to a coarse paste( just one or two pulse in mixie would do)
- In a pan add oil and season using mustard ,urad dal (till it is slightly brown) then add red chilli and curry leaves.
- Now add onion till translucent,add chopped cauliflower ,salt saute for few mins.and cook covered for few mins till cauliflower is fully cooked ( it won't take long as it was already cooked in water)
- Cook uncovered till all excess water evaporates.
- Now add the Ground Coconut and fry well till raw smell goes .(sprinkle little oil if needed).
- Serve hot with rice as side dish
