Ingrediants:-
- Chick Pea /Channa- 1 cup
- Onion -1 big
- Tomato - 1
- GingerGarlic Paste - 1 or 2 tsp
- G.Chillies -1
- Cloves ,Cardamom- 2 each
- Star anise - 1
- Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
- Chilli Powder - 3/4tsp to 1tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Corinader Leaves - a spring
- Oil
- Salt
Method:-
- Soak Chick Peas in water overnight.Pressure cook them till 3 whistles on high flame. Make sure to add salt before cooking chick peas.
- In a pan add oil and fry whole garam masalas ,add onions and G.Chillies and fry till translucent,then add GingerGarlic Paste and fry till raw smell goes..now add the tomatoes and saute them .cook covered in low flame for 5 mins ,by then the onion and tomatoes should have been cooked well and smashed well into a gravy...
- At this stage add chilli powder ,coriander powder, turmeric powder,salt and cook for 5 mins.
- now grind this masala into a smooth paste..
- Add this masala to cooked chickpea and saute for few mins...add water to adjust the consistency of the curry.add chopped coriander leaves and let it boil once u reach the desired consistency switch off stove.
- Serve hot with Chappati ,Roti ,Pulka,Naan ,Batura etc
