Ingrediants:- Carrot-2 cauliflower- 2 cups onion-1/2 To Grind:- coconut-1 tbsp cumin-1 tsp chilli powder-1/2tsp turmeric pwdr-1/4 tsp garlic- 1 pod For Seasoning:- Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp dry red chillies -1 or 2 curry leaves-1 spring oil-2 tsp Method;- Boil cauliflower in water with little salt and turmeric for a minute or two .drain and cut it into small pieces. and grind the coconut and the masalas listed for grinding into a coarse paste. In a pan add some oil .once oil is hot add mustard seed and let it crackle.then add red chillies and curry leaves.keep this seasoning aside. In the same pan add some oil and saute onions till translucent.then add carrots and cauliflower and saute again for a minute ,add little water and cook covered till vegs are cooked .now add the coconut paste and saute till the raw smell goes add salt . atlast add the seasoning already prepared. you can make this thoran with any veggie of your choice .
