Simple peas biriyani




Ingrediants:-

Basmati rice -1 cup
peas -1/4 cup
cloves-3, cardamon-2 ,cinnoman stick - 1/2 inch,bayleaf-1
onion-1 cup chopped
tomato -1 (big) chopped
green chillies -1
ginger garlic paste -2 tsp
biriyani masala - 1.5 tsp
turmeric - 1/2 tsp
coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
mint leaves -1/4 cup
salt ,oil and ghee

Preparation:-

In a pressure cooker add oil and little ghee ,then add cloves ,cinnoman,bayleaf and cardamon add the chopped onion and g.chilli and saute till it turns transparent and ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes. add tomatoes and cook till it becomes tender.add the boiled peas,if u have frozen u can add it directly.saute for few more mins.add the biriyani powder,turmeric powder,salt and fry for few more mins.add water(2 cups for 1 cup basmati rice)and let it come to a boil.at this stage add pre washed and drained rice to this and adjust salt.cover the pressure cooker and let it cook for 2 whistles on high flame.and wait till the pressure is released.now very simple peas biriyani is ready... easy to do lunch on a lazy day... enjoy :-)
