Beans Thoran ( Stir Fry )



 Ingredients :-

  • Beans - 3 hands full 
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Mustard Seeds -1/2 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - a stem
  • Dry Red Chillies -1
  • Oil
To Grind :-
  • Coconut - 4 tbsp
  • ChilliPowder -1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder -1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder -1/4 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 pod
Method:-

Make a coarse paste with the coconut,chilli powder, cumin powder ,turmeric and garlic...just give few pulses..

 In a kadai add the chopped beans and add very little water,enough to cook the beans..

 Now add little salt and let it cook uncovered till the beans is 3/4 cooked..

 Once all the water evaporates..and the beans cooked ..

 Add the coconut paste

 And few drops of oil

 Saute till the raw smell of the masala goes...

 For the tadka...heat some oil in a pan,wait till the oil heats up .then add Mustard Seeds,Curry Leaves and Dry Red Chilli

 Pour the tadka and mix well..

Serve as a side dish with some white rice and curry...
